In Memoriam

Diane Dean (White) - Class Of 1965

Dear Friends, my precious mother passed away peacefully last night at 11:30PM in the presence of my dad, sister, brother, myself, and Inna.  Or as my dad said, she was promoted to glory.  She was hospitalized the last three months for a number of reasons but had a massive stroke 2 days ago which sped up her entrance into the presence of Jesus.  She had a great life- not always physically easy in the last number of years- and her writing kept her active along with interacting in the lives with her three children (and spouses) and three grandchildren.  She didn't hesitate telling people about Christ, whether in person or in her books, and now is enjoying his presence in eternal glory.  We'll miss you mom, but we'll see you around the throne of Christ in the future.

Posted by her son. Very sad.

For everyone interested, the funeral and burial for Dee will be Friday, Dec 1st up at Apsey funeral home in Deckerville, MI (where her relatives are buried) followed by lunch in Frankenmuth.  More details to follow.

I am sorry to hear this.  Although Diane had not been able to attend reunion gatherings she stayed very much in touch and consistently demonstrated a very caring spirit in her communications.  Family will certainly be in my thoughts during this difficult time.
