Martin F. Ohm - Class Of 1931

Martin F. Ohm, son of Richard and Emma (Bohm), was born 30 December 1912 in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin.  He graduated from Okemos High School in 1931.  On 8 December 1934 Martin wed Sarah Frances "Frances" Hurt, daughter of William and Sarah (Sadler) Hurt.  In 1934 Martin was employed by Oldsmobile in Lansing and retired from there in 1973. Martin died 9 June 1981, Lansing, Ingham County.  Frances, born 4 December 1910 in Todd County, Kentucky, died 27 June 2007 in Lansing.  Martin and Frances were interred Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, DeWitt, Clinton County, Michigan.

OHM, MARTIN F.

Passed away June 9, 1981, in a local hospital.  He was born Dec. 30, 1912 in Milwaukee, Wis.  Mr. Ohm was retired from the Oldsmobile Division of General Motors in 1973 after 39 years; was a member of Quarter Century Club and the Oldsmobile Outdoor Club.  He is survived by his wife, Frances; 3 daughters, Mrs. Don (Frances) Fluke of Dimondale, Elizabeth Hannon of Lansing, and Deborah Ohm of Texas; 6 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren; 3 sisters; Bernice Smith, Gertrude Motcheck, and Virginia Carpenter; and 2 brothers; Robert and Richard.  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Fri. in the Jessen Funeral Home with the Rev. Milton R. Reisen of Calvary Lutheran Church officiating.  Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
