Kenneth Asa Cooper, son of Arthur Bement (1893-1960) and Helen R. (Dietz) (1897-1983) Cooper, was born 15 April 1927 in Jackson, Michigan.  He died 2 June 1987 in Lansing.

Went to be with his Lord and Savior, June 2, 1987.  Born April 15, 1927 in Jackson, Mr. Cooper was a member First Assembly of God Church, a veteran of World War II and worked for Dave Jessup of the Walter Neller Company.  Surviving are his loving wife, Betty; 3 daughters, Mrs. Nathaniel (Deborah) Hall, Mrs. Janice Arnold and Mrs. Nancy Johnson, 1 son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Sandy Westfall; 8 grandchildren, Kenneth, Darrick, Richard, Deirdra, Christopher, Rebecca, Caleb and Israel; 4 brothers, Charles, Arthur, Richard and Robert; 2 sisters, Mary Abbott, Joann Wells; many nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held Saturday 10 a.m. at the Gorsline-Runciman East Chapel, East Lanisng with the Rev. Norman W. Muhling, Pastor officiating.  Entombment will be in Deepdale Mausoleum.
