Dorothy married Louis J. VanKuiken (also found to be spelled Van Kuiken) 14 June 1947 Lansing, Ingham County, Michigan. Louis J. was born 3 April 1923.

Mr. and Mrs. Louis J. Van Kuiken are at home at 1228 Kingsley court, following their marriage June 14 in First Presbyterian church. Rev. John VanderMeulen officiated. The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Price, R. 2, is the former Miss Dorothy E. Price, and her husband is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Siebrandt Van Kuiken, 1220 Edward street.

THE VANKUIKENS
Lou and Dorothy (Price) VanKuiken of Bradenton, Fla., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a southern Caribbean cruise. there will also be a family celebration Aug. 9.
They retired from the state of Michigan in 1982, Lou from the Department of Management and Budget, and Dorothy from the Department of Transportation.
the couple, married June 14, 1947, in Lansing, have two children, James VanKuiken and Jack VanKuiken, and two grandsons.
Louis and Dorothy were reported to be living in Florida as of 2015.
