Bruce A. Eash, Lansing, MI, 57 years old; born January 11, 1950 in Lima, Ohio to Owen and Evelyn (Marquardt) Eash; passed away March 21, 2007.  Bruce was a kind and gentle man with a big heart and a ready laugh.  He enjoyed relaxing at his home or at his family's cottage in Interlochen.  

As a boy, Bruce was a star baseball pitcher with firecracker wit and a mischevious glint in his eye.  As an adult, he was generous to a fault, honest, compassionate and a firm believer in the golden rule. (Do unto others...) He was a strong advocate of nature and the environment.  

Preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Sharon Eash of Interlochen.  Survived by: his daughters who will miss him dearly, Jessica Eash of Ann Arbor, and Amy Eash of Skandia; his borthers, Robert Eash of Lansing, and Tom (Char) Eash of Tampa, Fl; his nephew, T.J. (Kim) Eash, and niece Jenna Eash of Tampa, FL; aunts and uncles; and his best friend and honorary family member, Jeanie Durham of Holt.

Memorial service will be at 7p.m. on Monday, March 26, 2007 at the Sheraton Lansing Hotel in the Aurora Room. Bring memories to share.
