Evelyn Dorris Unruh (Estes) class of 1968 of Laingsburg, age 66, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 29, 2017. She was born June 24, 1950 to Maynard and Dorris Unruh. She was the beloved wife of 43 years to Gail Estes.

She loved venturing to garage sales, sitting in her flower gardens and spending time with family. Evie fought a courageous battle with aneurisms and cancer.

She is survived by her husband, Gail; sister, brother, brothers- and sisters- in-law. She will be greatly missed by her many nieces and nephews whom she loved as her own.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Ann Parks and her brother Ron Unruh, sister in-law Rete Covell, brother in-law Gerry Estes, and brother in-law Walter Estes.

A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, February 4, 2017 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 132 S. Benjamin Street in Fowlerville, Michigan. The family will receive visitors one hour before the service. The service is scheduled for 1 pm with a luncheon to follow.
