Enjoyed getting my BA ( Simmons, Boston), working at the Brain Research Inst., UCLA, and greeting my PhD in 1984 (Behavioral Neuroscience) at the University of Washington. Went on to do research at U. Penn and Cornell. Was awarded 2 NIH RO1 grants then moved onto being a Professor at CSU-Pueblo, CO. Moved to Scituate, MA into a home built in 1668. Looking towards retirement, wanting less troublesome weather and lower taxes I moved to the Oregon Coast. Love it here. Tide pools, sea life, beach combing (agates and fossils), beautiful weather and sunsets. Little snow, rarely below freezing or above 75! View of the ocean from my home, a 10 minute walk to the beach. I had some hard times, but feel so lucky to be where I am now.
