Philip Alan Anderson, son of Russell David and Verna Marie (Aseltine) Anderson, was born 10 April 1956 in Ingham County, Michigan.  He graduated from Okemos High School in 1974.  Philip was killed in a motorcycle accident 6 July 1978 and interred Forest Lawn Cemetery.  Forest Lawn may be located in the Detroit area.

Mr. Anderson, age 22, died as the result of a motorcycle accident on July 6, 1978.   He was a life-long resident of Lansing.  He was affiliated with the South Church of the Nazarene.  He graduated from Okemos High School in 1974.  He was associated with Anderson Plumbing & Htg., Inc. as a Journeyman Plumber.  He was an Affiliate Member of Lansing Home Builders & Contractor's Association.  Surviving are: parents, Russell D. and Marie Anderson of Holt; 3 sisters, Carol Hurtado of Miami, Fla., Valorie Anderson of Lansing and Cindy Anderson of Holt; 1 brother Donald Anderson of Lansing; Fiancée, Marye Moore of Holt; great grandmother, Mary Aseltine of East Lansing, 5 nieces and nephews.  Religious services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Mon. in the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel with Rev. Carl R. Allen of Plymouth Church of the Nazarene officiating, with interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
