Thomas S. Harsha - Class Of 1979 VIEW PROFILE

Thomas S. Harsha class of 1979 of Lower Makefield Township died Thursday Jan. 11, 2018, at Penn Hospice at Rittenhouse in Philadelphia. He was 56. Born in Akron, Ohio, and formerly of Okemos, Mich., he resided in Lower Makefield for the past 20 years. Tom was graduated from Temple University with a B.A. in Business Administration and pursued a Master’s degree in Education. He had a career in risk management before returning to education as a substitute school teacher. As a member of Woodside Presbyterian Church, he actively supported many church activities including Senior High Youth Group and participated in numerous mission trips to the Dominican Republic. He is survived by his wife, Lynne Adgate Harsha; his daughter, Ellen Marie Harsha; his parents, James L. and Diane Wellman Harsha of Okemos, Mich.; his brother and sister-in-law, Tim and Diane Harsha of Franklin, Tenn. and their daughter Melanie; and his sister, Rebecca McKee of Haslett, Mich. and her sons, Kevin and Kyle. A memorial service will be held in his honor at 11 a.m. Jan. 27, at Woodside Presbyterian Church, 1665 Edgewood Road, Yardley.
