Well, after OHS graduation (without honors) it was into the working world and college for several years. Enter marriage, two boys, and the need for a larger house. Called Bob Delind, who in the early l 970's, was known as the "Donald Trump" of Meridian Township Realty. The marriage went in the other direction, so I ended up being a single lad for about ten years. In 1984 I met and married Jill and we raised our combined family of three boys at good old OHS.
After 35 years in Health & Safety at G.M Service Parts Operations in Lansing it was time to "turn the page" in 1998. All the boys were out of college and had real life jobs so there was no longer the "giant sucking sound" of tuition haunting our checkbook

We made the decision to retire to northern Michigan and have never regretted it. Joined a golf club and split our time boating, golfing, Florida in winter and anything outdoors along with enjoying our six grandchildren, who are all five years and younger. We both still walk eighteen holes when playing golf, so life is pretty darn good.
