Norma June Trumble (Stafford) - Class Of 1941

Norma June Trumble, daughter of Albert H. (1900-1979) and Iva W. (Connely) (1901-1983) Trumble, was born 29 July 1923 Lansing, Ingham County, Michigan.  She graduated in 1941 from Okemos High School.  Norma married Donald Arlo Stafford.  Donald was born 27 June 1920 Norwood, Charlevoix County, Michigan.  He was a World War II Army Signal Corp veteran.

Pvt. Donald Stafford, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Stafford, 522 South Magnolia avenue, has been in the service one year and overseas for 10 months.  He is in the army signal corps and has been transferred from England to North Africa.

Norma died 7 September 1991 Ingham County.  Donald died 24 September 1993.  He retired from the City of Lansing.  Donald and Norma were interred Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, DeWitt, Clinton County, Michigan.

STAFFORD, NORMA J.

LANSING

Age 68, died Saturday, September 7, 1991 in Lansing.  Norma was a lifelong resident of Lansing and a member of Christ United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed doing volunteer work at Lansing General Hospital, Potter Park Outreach Program, and the Harvest House Ministry.  Surviving are her husband of 47 years, Donald; 2 daughters, Cheryl (Gordon) Galloway and Linda (Jim) Balk; 1 son, Donald (Judy) Stafford; 8 grandchildren, Geoff and Carrie Galloway, Martin and Angela Balk, William and Robert Paris, Walter and Dominique Shilling; 1 brother, Melvin (Virgie) Trumble.  Special thanks to Everett and Sue Bugg for all their loving help.  A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday September 10, 1991.
