Carlton James Beaumont - Class Of 1926 VIEW PROFILE

Carlton James Beaumont

Carlton James Beaumont, son of Edward (1883-1956) and Sarah (Hulett) (1887-1958) Beaumont, was born 18 October 1908 in Okemos, Ingham County, Michigan.  He graduated from Okemos Consolidated School in 1926.  Carlton had a "massive collapse" at his home, was transported to Sparrow Hospital but did not recover and died.  He was interred Glendale Cemetery, Okemos.

Mr. Beaumont, 21, a teller at the Capital National bank, died at the Edward W. Sparrow hospital Friday evening following a short illiness.  He resided with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Beaumont of Okemos.  He graduated from the Okemos consolidated school in 1926 and had been employed at the bank since graduation.  Besides his parents, he is survived by one brother, Edward, and his grandmother, Mrs. Kate Mills of Charlotte.  Funeral services will be held from the Gorsline-Runciman funeral home Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock, the Rev. Paul Boodagh officiating.  Interment will be in the new Okemos cemetery.
