Two time State Champion in the Javelin Throw and the dominant athlete on the 1929 and 1930 State Championship Track and Field Team. Cleo scored 14 of the team's 34 points in the 1930 State Championship with seconds in the discus, shotput and pole vault in addition to his State record javelin throw.
