Tom Myron Hudson - Class Of 1930

Tom Myron Hudson, son of Ralph Stowell (1884-1968) and Lottie M. (Daniels) (1887-1968) Hudson, was born 23 June 1912, Okemos, Ingham County, Michigan.  He graduated 1930 from Okemos High School.

Tom married fellow classmate June Elaine Kessler, 31 December 1932, Okemos.  June, born 28 August 1912, also graduated in 1930.  Tom was attending Michigan State College when he fell ill with scarlet fever.  He died in the Michigan State College Hospital, East Lansing, Ingham County, 20 March 1933.  The death certificate stated the cause of death to be scarlet fever and pneumonia.  Tom was interred Glendale Cemetery, Okemos.

M. S. C. Instructor's Son Is Death Victim

Tom Myron Hudson, 21, student at Michigan State college and son of Ralph S. Hudson, associate professor of animal husbandry and superintendent of the college farm, died early Monday morning in a local hospital after a short illness.  He lived with his parents at Okemos.

Besides the parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Hudson, he is survived by the widow June, and two brothers, John George and Dorr Almeron.

Private funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at the Gorsline-Runciman Funeral home, the Rev. Stanley Thayer officiating.  Interment will be at Okemos.

June married again in 1934.  She and her second husband, Ralph E. Brown, had 3 children. June died at age 55, 13 March 1968, Ingham County.  She was interred Leek Cemetery, Okemos.
