Frank Albert Hogle

Frank Albert Hogle, son of Guy Otis (1885-1929) and Mabel A. (Damon; She married again with surname Purchis) (1887-1977) Hogle, was born 29 July 1917, Lansing, Ingham County, Michigan.  Frank graduated in 1935 from Okemos High School.  He married Lillian Marie McKeen 1 July 1939, Eaton Rapids, Ingham County.  Frank was a masonry contractor in the Lansing area for over 4 decades.  He and Lillian raised 2 daughters together during their 49 years of marriage.  Frank died 15 August 1988, Lansing.  Lillian, born 20 October 1918, died 13 August 2009.  Frank and Lillian were interred Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, DeWitt, Clinton County, Michigan.

Age 71, died August 15, 1988.  Born July 29, 1916 in Lansing,  Mr. Hogle attended Lake Lansing Baptist Church and retired as a masonry contractor in the Lansing area for over 40 years.  Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Lillian; 2 daughters, Mrs. Stephen (Carol) Faas of Grand Rapids and Judy Hogle of Haslett; foster-daughter, Mary Mullins of Lansing; 7 grandchildren, Jamie Brandt, Victor and Stephanie Brooks, Dawn, Molly, John and Anne Flaherty; 2 great granddaughters, Jessica and Brittney; 2 brothers, Claude of Grand Rapids and Guy of Florida; 4 sisters, Mrs. Ruth Taylor of Honor, Mrs. Laura Lamphear of Holt, Mrs. William (Marian) Miller of St. Louis, MO and Mrs. Kenneth (Betty) Cooper of Holt; many nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held Friday, 10 a.m. in the Lake Lansing Baptist Church, 5960 Okemos Road, East Lansing, with the Rev. Dean Walter, Pastor officiating.  Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
