Anna Irene "Ann" Jensen, daughter of Frederick (1877-1963) and Maria Fredericka (Hansen) Jensen, was born 21 December 1917, Dansville, Ingham County, Michigan.  Ann's parents were born in Copenhagen, Denmark.  Anna listed her birth place on her marriage certificate as Dansville while on her social security registration East Lansing was recorded.  Ann graduated in 1935 from Okemos High School.  She married Kenneth Albert Ash 7 January 1939, Steuben County, Indiana.

The 1940 Ingham County, Michigan US Federal Census enumerated Ann with husband and 10 month old daughter living with Kenneth's parents in Lansing, Michigan.  Kenneth, a January 1938 graduate of Eastern High School in Lansing, was attending Michigan State College. He was drafted into the US Army during World War II and attained the rank of Lieutenant in the military police.

After the war the Jensen's moved to California.  Ann was listed in her father's 1963 obituary as residing in Berkley, California.  She and Kenneth were divorced September 1975, Alameda County, California.  Kenneth, born 19 June 1919, Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan, died 8 April 1997.  Ann, who never remarried, died 25 July 2005. Interments are unknown.
