Gerald D. Giese, son of Dennis Lundberg (1925-2007) and Vernice Leota (Parmelee) (1929-1978) Giese, was born 9 November 1952, Reed City, Osceola County, Michigan.   Gerald graduated in 1971 from Okemos High School.  He died, age 30, 31 December 1982 and was interred Sowle Cemetery, St. Johns, Clinton County, Michigan.

Gerald's mother Vernice was married three times; Giese, Wood, Pruitt.  Gerald was the only child from her married to Giese.  Vernice was also interred Sowle Cemetery but with the surname of Pruitt.

Age 30, died Dec. 31, 1982.  Mr. Giese was born Nov. 9, 1952 in Reed City, MI and had lived in the Lansing area most of his life.  He graduated from Okemos High School and attended the Glad Tiddings Pentecostal Church.  He is survived by his father, Dennis Giese; 2 sisters, Mrs. Keith (Barbara) Smith and Mrs. Bonnie Pruitt both of Lansing; 4 brothers, Larry S. Wood of Big Rapids, Kenneth A. Wood of LeRoy, MI, Andrew Pruitt and David Pruitt both of Lansing; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Mulvihill of Lansing; paternal grandmother, Esther Giese of Reed City and step-father, Edwin Pruitt of LeRoy.  Funeral services will be held Tues., 1 p.m. at the Gorsline-Runciman Lansing Chapel with Pastor Dan. L. Martineau of the Glad Tiddings Pentecostal Church officiating.  Interment will be at the Sowle Cemetery, Maple Rapids, MI.
