Robert Lyle Bob Boykin

Robert Lyle "Bob" Boykin, son of Robert Eugene (1923-1997) and Betty Jean (Nadeau) (1926-1999) Boykin, was born 25 December 1943, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.  Bob's father was a World War II Navy veteran and Pearl Harbor survivor.  Mr. Boykin was listed as a crew member on the USS Utah.

 

Bob graduated in 1962 from Okemos High School.  His parents moved to Florida in the 1960's and Bob moved there too.  Bob was a US Navy veteran.  He died 11 April 2013, St. Lucie County, Florida.

Robert “Bob” Boykin, 69, died April 11, 2013 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.

Mr. Boykin was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and moved to Ft. Pierce over 30 years ago coming from Miami, Florida.

He worked at Jackson’s Drugs in Fort Pierce and was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy. He graduated from FAU with a bachelor’s degree in business.

Survivors include his wife, Arlene Boykin of Ft. Pierce, FL; son, Robert Todd Boykin; step-son, Donald T. Elliott of Clyde, NC; step-daughter, Lori M. Elliott of Ft. Pierce, FL; and 4 grandchildren.
