Virginia Ann Pound was born 28 August 1941 in Flint, Genesee County, Michigan.  Although her obituary states she was born in 1943 both the Social Security Death Index and Social Security Applications and Claims Index list her year of birth as 1941.  Virginia was a 1959 graduate of Okemos High School.  She died 9 March 2005.

Born August 28, 1943, passed away March 9, 2005.  She is survived by her siblings, Don (Ila) Pound, John (Barb) Pound, Mary Kay (Blake) Pielstick, Nancy Behrens; ex-husband, Bob Dalton; children, Chad (Ann Marie) Dalton, Gregg (Tree) Dalton, Christy (Jeff) Hutchinson; and her cherished grandchildren, Bryce Dalton, Jack and Sophie Hutchinson, Grant C.S. Pound.  A service honoring her memory will take place Saturday, May 7, 2005 at 2 p.m. at her daughter's home in Grand Rapids, MI.
