If we receive requests to "take down" postings of obituaries, biographies or commentary, all requests will be immediately considered.  It is the policy of the Okemos Alumni Association regarding posting obituaries and biographies, that we quote and post only published sources for facts and circumstances.  OAA editors and administrators may add commentary for readability.   All commentary by Classmates will be reviewed by OAA editors for appropriateness.  Any classmate, relative or editor can request the removal of any material or commentary, except for the notice and year of death.  Any previously published material that had been requested removed from the OAA website, may be made available by separate request of alumni, teachers or administration of Okemos High School.  We will publish the requests for removing material so that other alumni will be aware of the request for privacy.
