Jon Stephen Airola class of 1962, born on April 20, 1944, in Kansas City, Missouri, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2024, in Lansing, Michigan. He was the beloved son of Ellis and Jean Airola.
Jon is survived by his devoted wife of 20 years, Nampetch Lohakarok; his children, Jean Anne Davis and Stephen Smith Airola; and his cherished grandchildren: Bailey Louise Davis, William Ray Davis, Benjamin Stephen Airola, Hannah Catherine Airola, Grant Stephen Airola, and Faith Nevaeh Airola. He also leaves behind four great-grandchildren.
Jon’s life was marked by his love for family and the legacy he built through them. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him and loved him dearly.
May his memory bring comfort to all who mourn his passing.

For the last 2 to 3 maybe even four years Jon and I would have lunch at local eating and drinking eatablishments around the Lansing area once a month. He was a wealth of knowledge of Okemos and the people of Okemos. I am gonna miss those lunches. RIP my friend. We will meet again.
