Marvin E. Brown, son of Clarence Curtis (1881-1938) and Eva M. (Miller) (1902-1963) Brown, was born 3 October 1924 Michigan. Marvin's older brother, Denzil, and older sister, Dorothea, also graduated from Okemos High School. Denzil, Class of 1939, was murdered in 1967. Dorothea graduated in 1940. Marvin graduated in 1943.

MASON BOY TREATED FOR BULLET WOUND
Marvin Brown, 15, of R. 4, Mason, was treated at Edward W. Sparrow hospital Saturday afternoon for a bullet wound in his right thigh suffered when a .22 caliber rifle was accidentally discharged by his 12-year-old sister, Audrey Jean. He was discharged following treatment.
According to state police the two children, son and daughter of Mrs. Eva Brown, were shooting the rifle in a wood lot back of the Brown farm on Stillman road, when the accident occurred.

WILLIAMSTON MAN HURT IN MOTORCYCLE CRASH
Marvin Brown, 21, of R. 3, Williamston, was in serious condition at Edward W. Sparrow hospital Monday morning suffering from injuries sustained when his motorcycle and an automobile collided early in the morning at Harrison and Mr. Hope roads.
State police said the car involved in the accident was driven by Carl Haussman, 2205 Harding avenue, who also suffered slight injuries. Brown was reported by attendants to be suffering from a possible skull fracture and fractures of the left wrist and left leg. His condition was given as "fair."
Marvin died 26 July 1984 in a Grand Rapids, Kent County, Michigan hospital after picking and then eating poison mushrooms. He was interred, with parents and brother Denzil, Leek Cemetery, Okemos, Ingham County, Michigan.
