Richard "Dick" Flanders, son of  Russell (1911-1958) and Laura Iona (Wilder) (1914-2004) Flanders, was born 23 June 1941 in Michigan.  He graduated in 1960 from Okemos High School.  Dick died 16 April 2017.

Richard Eugene Flanders (formerly of the Lansing area) passed away at his home in Gladwin, Michigan on Sunday, April 16, 2017 at the age of 75. Richard is predeceased by his parents Russell and Laura Flanders. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Gloria. Richard will also be remembered by his brother Jim; his sons Rick, Greg, Rob and John; his daughters Chris and Irene; his beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Richard was a 50 year honorary member of the Carpenters Union and an avid sports fan. He will be dearly missed. At the family's request, a private ceremony has taken place.
