Alice Marie King, daughter of John Henry Jr. (1896-1978) and Helen Estelle (Hawks) (1895-1987) King, was born 4 August 1920 Coswell, Sanilac County, Michigan. Alice graduated in 1938 from Okemos High School. She married fellow Okemos alumni Cecil Alwood "Bud" Little 11 March 1939 Lansing, Ingham County, Michigan.
Alice and Bud lost a daughter to an auto accident near Perry 27 April 1966. Sandra K. Little, born in 1947 and a 1965 graduate of Perry High School, succumbed to her injuries.
Cecil, son of Beryl and Delphia (Alwood) Little, was born 13 June 1914 Clare County, Michigan. He died 26 October 1990 Lansing, Ingham County.

Alice Marie Little, age 91 of Perry, passed away on Tuesday February 28, 2012 at Olive Branch Assisted Living in Perry. Alice was born in Coswell, MI, the daughter of Rev. John & Helen (Hawk) King on August 4, 1920. She graduated from Okemos High School. She was the first women allowed to play on the Okemos Men's Golf League at age 16. She met her soul-mate, Cecil "Bud" Little in high school and shared her passion for golf with him. They were married March 11, 1937 (wrong year!), then moved to the farm on Church Rd. in 1944, where they raised their family, daughters Judith and Sandy and son Danny. Along with farming, she continued to work at the Fisher Body Plant (Line/cushion room) for 21 years and continued playing golf up until her 85th year. She won several silver/gold medals and trophies. Those who survive her include her daughter Judith Turner, son Danny & Marilyn Little, seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and one great great grandson. Sister-in-law Lois King, several nieces, nephews, and friends that loved her and will be missed by all.
Alice, Bud and Sandra K. were interred Rose Lawn Cemetery, Perry, Shiawassee County, Michigan.
