A successful lifelong entrepreneur (Hotsy) in Ft. Myers, Florida and prior to that, in Okemos (Puck and Pedal). David, or 'Hotsy' and 'Nunu' as they are known to their sweet grandchildren, lived a life filled with optimism.
The legacy of this kindhearted and optimistic man is in the treasured relationships he spent his life cultivating. A devoted husband to Sherry, they loved their treasured lifelong friends, their large extended family, their house full of children, and their spirited grandchildren.
If you were lucky enough to be part of his life, you had an authentic and sincere friend, son, brother, cousin, uncle, father and grandfather. Time spent with Dave was centered around laughter and good conversation, playing games around a kitchen table, quietly watching sunsets or sunrises on the back porch of the lake house, and sharing old stories. His legacy lives on in the people who cherished him and in the grandchildren who are so lucky to have had time to really know him.
