Patricia Jill Rodhe, Jill to her friends, was born 13 December 1948, Painesville, Lake County, Ohio. She was the daughter of World War II veteran Jack Kenneth (1923-2007) and wife, Catherine May (Naftzger) (1926-2001) Rodhe. Both Jack and Catherine were native Ohioans and married in Geauga County, Ohio in 1946. Their marriage produced three children, Jacquelyn, “Jill” and a son, Mitchell. Jill graduated from Okemos High School in 1966.

Jill wed Peter Zecevic, an Okemos High School classmate, in the fall of 1971. The couple had one son and in the 1970's they moved to Alaska. Jill worked for many years for North Star. Their son Michael graduated in 1996 from Juneau-Douglas High School, Juneau. Jill and Peter divorced in the 1990's and she then devotedly partnered with a gentleman named William Travis until her death 6 June 2004 at Eagle River, a municipality of Anchorage, Alaska.
