Franklin Jesse "Frank" Heniser - Class Of 1939

Franklin Jesse "Frank" Heniser, son of Jesse James (1885-1976) and Anna Marie (Zitka) (1888-1932) Heniser, was born 19 March 1920 Grand Traverse County, Michigan.  He graduated in 1939 from Okemos High School.  On 29 June 1940, in Lansing, Ingham County, Michigan, he married Pearl E. Harmon.  Frank was a World War II Army veteran.

WEDDING JUNE 29 ANNOUNCED HERE

Mrs. John Harmon of East Lansing announces the marriage of her daughter, Pearl, to Franklin J. Heniser of East Lansing, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Heniser of Traverse City.  The wedding took place Saturday, June 29, at the home of the Rev. Mrs. Neva Colter of Lakeview Nazarene church.

Attending the bridal couple were Miss Marian Hogle and Gaylord Foote, both of Williamston.  A reception given at the home of the bridegroom's brother, Charles R. Heniser, followed the ceremony.  Mr. and Mrs. Heniser are now living on R. 1, East Lansing.

Pearl, born 4 March 1920 Alabama, died 5 May 1999 Lansing.  Frank died 15 August 1999 Lansing.  They were interred Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, DeWitt, Eaton County, Michigan.

PERRY

Age 79, died August 15, 1999.  Born March 19, 1920 in Grand Traverse, MI.  Mr. Heniser was a Staff Sergeant in World War II and retired after 37 years from Motor Wheel of Lansing.  He was an active member of Bath Baptist Church since 1971, and Director of the Sunny Seniors Group for 20 years.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Pearl 91999), 2 sons Rodney and Russel Heniser, 1 brother, Herbert J. Heniser and 2 sisters, Edna and Geraldine.  Surviving are 2 daughters, Sharon (Ronald) Judge of Shepherd and Patricia (Paul) Alexander of Alabama; 2 daughters-in-law, Wendy and Betty Heniser; 17 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Clifford and Gerald; 1 sister, Betty Ann.  Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 21, 11 a.m. at Bath Baptist Church, 13527 Webster Road, Bath, with the Rev. Dr. Richard G. Cole, Pastor officiating.  Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Lansing.
