Howard M. Hatch, son of Alvin John (1917-1966) and Leah Margaret (Davidson) (1917-2005) Hatch, was born 1 December 1940, Lansing, Ingham County, Michigan. He attended Okemos High School with the class of 1959 but was not on the graduation roster.
Howard served in the United States Army, married Colleen Bauer, raised 3 children and was an independent business owner. He died 21 March 2015, Oscoda County, Michigan.

Howard M. Hatch, 74, of Oscoda, Mich., formerly of Johannesburg, Mich., Portland, Mich., and Okemos, Mich., passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015 with his family by his side at home.
Howard was born December 1, 1940 in Lansing, Mich., to the late Alvin J. and Leah M. (Davidson) Hatch. He married the former Colleen Bauer on July 11, 1964 in Portland, Mich. and together they raised three children, Renee, Julie, and Kelly.
Howard proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1959-1962. He enjoyed a good round of golf, woodworking, and gardening, but most of all enjoyed his time with his family. He was a proud Michigan State University football and basketball fan in addition to a Green Bay Packers fan.
Howard is survived by his adoring wife, Colleen; children, Renee Heide of Channahon, IL, Julie Jensen of Aitkin, MN, Kelly Techentin of Dubin, OH; seven grandchildren; brother, Robert Hatch of Lake Odessa, MI.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, April 4, 2015 at the Oscoda United Methodist Church. Rev. Bill Seitz will officiate.
