Brian W. Carlson, age 59 of Rochester Hills.  Dear father of Bradley, Bailey, Brett, and the late Burke Dale.  Son of Edward and the late Louise Carlson. Survived by his former wife Brenda. Brother of Melinda (Todd) Carlson Derby, Karen (Tim) Carlson Sibilla, Amy (Stan) Janik, Jeff (Ashley) Baker, and Steve Wright.  Also survived by nieces and nephews.

Brian graduated Okemos High School and Central Michigan University, and at the time of his engagement in 1995, was a lieutenant in the Army.
