Dale Ellsworth Burch, son of Calvin E. (1904-1977) and Doris May (Garlow) (1909-1985) Burch, was born 3 August 1927, Ingham County, Michigan.  Dale attended Okemos High School with the Class of 1944.  He entered the United States Air Force in 1948 and made it a career, retiring in 1970.  Dale served in Vietnam.

Dale married Ethel Elizabeth Fernholtz 20 May 1950, Grand Ledge, Eaton County, Michigan.  The couple celebrated 3 sons and 38 years together.  Dale died 15 June 1988, Osceola County, Florida.  Ethel, born 11 May 1931, died 12 October 2009, Florida.

DALE ELLSWORTH BURCH, 60, 4789 Naranja Way, Kissimmee, died Monday.  Born in Mason, Mich., he moved to Kissimmee from Howell, Mich., in 1979.  He was a retired technical sergeant in the U.S. Air Force.  He was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Kissimmee.  He was a veteran of the Vietnam War.  Survivors; wife, Ethel E.; sons, Gregory L. and Gary A., both of Kissimmee, Dennis A., Eustis; sister, Shirley Klotz, Hillman, Mich.; brothers, Jerry A., Holt, Mich., Russell D., Six Lakes, Mich., Herbert Hovey, Spring Arbor, Mich.; one grandchild.  Grissom Funeral Home, Kissimmee.
