June 9, 1958 – February 23, 2016

Kevin D Baker 57 of Okemos passed peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born June 9 1958 in Lansing to Thomas (deceased) and Evelyn. Beloved husband of 31 years to Monica. Loving son Joshua. Loving brother of Kenda (Jeff - deceased), Tomla (Keith) Tommy, David (Julie). Brother in law of Suzy (John), Mike (Beverly). Devoted mother in law Phyllis Gabbert. Nieces, Kristen and Rachel. Nephews Frank, Jacob, Dustin and Justin.

Kevin was a 1976 graduate of Okemos High School.He loved his family and friends and was an avid fly fisherman. Fishing the rivers of upper Michigan and lakes and streams of Colorado and California. Kevin loved the out of door and all the wonders of nature. Once he started talking about fishing it was hard to get him to stop. He also had a passion for moto cross riding, skateboarding and of course his beloved Red Wings.
