Nancy was such a sweet girl!  Patti Lyon and I shared Honors Algebra with Nancy our freshman year, taught by football assistant coach, Ken May. Nancy was studious, despite battling her serious health challenge after surgery.  With no complaints, she was in and out of school as her health allowed. I remember learning about Nancy's death the following fall of 1965, at an OHS football game.  It was a sobering night for so many of us, being introduced to the loss of a classmate at such a young age.
