Eleanor V. McManus, daughter of Kenneth G. (1903-1970) and Ada Marie (Harrington) (1903-1998) McManus, was born 8 November 1923 Michigan.  Eleanor's parents divorced in 1951.  Ada Marie McManus married a Showerman.

Eleanor and her brother Kenneth G. Jr. graduated together in 1941 from Okemos High School.  Eleanor married Kenneth Wells and was employed as a reporter for the Steuben County, Indiana court.  Eleanor succumbed to "cardio-pulmonary arrest" 26 July 1987 Angola, Steuben County.  She was interred East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Okemos, Ingham County, Michigan.
