Jack Eugene Stevens

Jack Eugene Stevens, son of Milton Bernard (1908-1976) and Flossie Catherine (Kissee) (1912-1993) Stevens, was born 19 April 1936, Lansing, Ingham County, Michigan.  He graduated in 1956 from Okemos High School.  Jack married thrice: Norma Jean Preston, Daylene Hagerman and Joan Courser.  He died 20 May 2013, East Lansing, Ingham County and was interred Gunnisonville Cemetery, Lansing.

Obituary:

Jack E. Stevens, born April 19, 1936 to Milton and Flossie (Kissee) Stevens, passed away May 20, 2013. Mr. Stevens was a veteran of the United States Army and a locksmith at General Motors. He enjoyed working on and restoring old cars and was a race fan who loved going to Spartan Speedway and watching races on TV. He also loved to travel in his motor home and went to Alaska in it. Jack was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Joann Heinz. He will be dearly missed by the “love of his life,” Joanne; daughters, Shawn (Marc) Peck and Stacey Swanson; sons, Mike Stevens and Mark Stevens; step-daughter, Rhonda (Paul) Bennett; step-sons, Tom (Sandy) Kelley, Harry (Linda) Kelley and Bryan (Patti) Kelley; numerous grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and brother, Jerry (Norma) Stevens. Family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 p. m. on Friday, May 24, at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Washington, DeWitt, Michigan. Interment will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 25, at Gunnisonville Cemetery in Lansing.
