Robert Wayne "Bob" Martin, son of Wayne O. Martin M.D. (1906-1983) and Helen A. (Bader) (1913-2011), was born 24 October 1947 in Lansing, Ingham County, Michigan.  Bob graduated from Okemos High School in 1966 and after graduation served in the US Air Force.  Bob died 24 October 1989 in Lansing, Ingham County.  He and his parents were interred Evergreen Cemetery, Lansing.

GRAND LEDGE

Age 42, passed away October 24, 1989.  He was born in Lansing, on October 24, 1947 and has been a lifelong resident of the area.  He graduated from Okemos High School, attended Lansing Community College, was a veteran having served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of Plymouth Congregational Church.  He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Wayne O. Martin; and a sister, Lou Ann Martin Ward.  Surviving are mother, Helen A. Martin of Grand Ledge; sister and brother-in-law, Janet Sue and Fred Zander of Illinois; brother-in-law, Arlen T. Ward of Traverse City; several nieces and nephews.  Religious services will be conducted by The Rev. Dr. Patrick D. Shelley, of Plymouth Congregational Church, at 2:30 p.m. Friday in the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel with interment in Evergreen Cemetery.
