Robyn Andrus, daughter of DeVon Franklin (1928-2013) and Mary Esther (McAdam) (1928-1960) Andrus, was born 8 October 1952, Logan, Cache County, Utah. Her mother, Mary, was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada while her father, DeVon, was a farm boy raised in Utah. The Andrus' had 11 children, Robyn and twin sister Dawn were the 2nd birth children. Robyn's mother died of "natural causes" when Robyn and Dawn were 7 years old.
Robyn's father, who was a US Army Korean Conflict veteran, remarried and moved his family to Michigan where he obtained his PhD at Michigan State University. Mr. Andrus then was employed for 21 years with the American Breeders Service and later as Head Nutritionist for Al Safi Dairy in Saudi Arabia where he oversaw the nutrition of 22,500 dairy cows. While working for ABS he did pioneering work as a statistician which the USDA used to develop industry wide standards for calving ease.
Robyn graduated in 1971 from Okemos High School. She never married.
Robyn died 25 February 2017, Cedar City, Iron County, Utah and was interred Orem, Utah County. Her parents were interred Draper City Cemetery, Draper, Salt Lake County.

Robyn Andrus, age 64, passed away of natural causes at her home in Cedar City, Utah, on February 25, 2017.
Robyn was born on October 8, 1952, in Logan, Utah, to DeVon Franklin Andrus and Mary Esther McAdam Andrus. She was the second oldest of eleven children. Robyn’s mother died when she was seven years old, and she was raised by her father and her second mother, Joanne G. Andrus. Robyn lived in Keosauqua, Onawa, Greenville, and Ames, Iowa; East Lansing, Michigan; DeForest and Madison, Wisconsin; and Draper, Fruit Heights, and Cedar City, Utah.
Robyn graduated from Okemos High School in Okemos, Michigan. She was an avid reader, she loved animals, especially her parakeet, Patrick, and she enjoyed knitting; she knitted over a hundred and fifty hats for charity. She worked in the fast food industry and as a housekeeper for businesses. Robyn enjoyed watching and supporting her favorite sports teams, especially the Wisconsin Badgers. Robyn was an avid letter writer, sending and receiving hundreds of letters and cards, and faithfully corresponding with many friends and family over the years. She had a good sense of humor, and liked to tease and be teased. She and her sister, Dawn, were twins, and Robyn loved to remind everyone that she was the oldest twin.
Robyn was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Esther McAdam Andrus, her father, DeVon Franklin Andrus, and her brother, Jay Franklin Andrus (Mami). She is survived by her second mother, Joanne G. Andrus, her sisters, Marie Lenore Scott (Dan), Dawn Andrus, Sylvia J. Andrus (Tom Breu), and Joy Anne Yang (Mike), and her brothers, Kyle DeVon Andrus (Marian), John Mark Andrus (Bonnie), Ford Gano Andrus (Kim), Paul Brooks Andrus (Nancy), and Sherman Gano Andrus (Victoria). She was also adored by her many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 10:00 am. A viewing will be held prior to the service on Saturday from 9:00-9:45 am, both at the LDS Sunbow Ward, 2015 Wedgewood Lane, Cedar City, Utah. Interment will be in the Orem City Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.
