Thank you to Drue Schlosser VanLake class of 1976 for notification:

"Mona lived in Okemos, East Lansing all of her life. Her Brother Raja and wife, still do, I believe.

"When my family moved from GA to Okemos, Mona was the first student who made friends with me at school.

"She was a bright, courageous young woman who cared deeply about her friends.

"She was passionate about Palestine and the situation there. Her other love was her Nephew, now a doctor. Dr. Toufic Jildeh, a sports medicine orthopedic MD, in East Lansing.

"She had a very strong moral compass and wasn’t afraid to correct you. I truly miss our conversations and time spent together."
