Nancy Wordell class of 1969 passed peacefully in her sleep on November 24, 2024, at 73.

Nancy is survived by her brother Rick Wordell, his wife Yvonne, and their son Austin, and their special friends Barb and Steve Tatro and their daughters’ family: Jen, Brandon, Ava, Jaxon, and Davis. She was also loved by many friends in the Roseville area, especially the Kodiak Krew, and throughout the country.

Nancy was born in Okemos, Michigan, to Don and Evelyn Wordell. She graduated from Okemos High School in 1969. In the mid-70’s, she moved to California and secured employment in the burgeoning technology sector. Nancy retired from Hewlett-Packard and spent her retirement at her home in Roseville, CA.

She enjoyed watching sports, cooking, and chatting on the phone with friends and family. She had a little sass about her and was not afraid to tell you how she saw things! She was relatable and fun to be around. Nancy will be remembered for her generosity, caring nature, delicious sweet potato casserole, and amazing ginger snaps!

We never know when our time will end with the people we love. Cherish every moment. Without Nancy there is a noticeable void, and this world is less in her absence.
