Florence Lorene "Lorene" Robb (Little) - Class Of 1937

Florence Lorene "Lorene" Robb, daughter of Samuel Paris (1883-1968) and Sarah Ethel (Lowe) (1884-1972) Robb, was born 7 December 1919 Kinmundy, Marion County, Illinois.  The Robb family moved in about 1921 to Bath Township, Clinton County, Michigan.  In 1927 the tragic Bath School bombing took place and among the 38 children killed in the explosion was Lorene's sister Elsie (1914-1927).  The Robb's moved from the Bath area to East Lansing where Lorene, the youngest child, attended and then graduated in 1937 from Okemos High School.

Lorene married Wellington Wilsen "Wells" Fuller 30 March 1939 in Lansing, Ingham County.  She and Wells were divorced and Lorene married Allen Wilbur Little.  Allen, born 25 May 1920 Pontiac, Oakland County, Michigan, was a World War II Army veteran.  He died 7 December 2013 Eaton County, Michigan.  Lorene died 24 October 2004 Eaton County.   She was interred DeWitt City Cemetery, DeWitt, Clinton County, Michigan.

Lorene was born in Marion County, IL, on December 7, 1919, the youngest of six children, to Samuel and Ethel Robb.  The family moved to Michigan when she was two years old.  They lived in DeWitt and Bath Township until after the Bath explosion in which her sister, Elsie, was killed.  They then moved to East Lansing where she lived until her marriage.  Lorene graduated from Okemos High School and attended L.B.U.  She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Elsie Robb, Alice Skinner and Edith Robb; and brother, William Robb.  Surviving are her husband, Allen W.; daughters, Margo (Garry) Wieber of Jackson, Janene (Mike) Fields of Roscommon and Lanet Holstrom of Grand Ledge; sons, Mark (Joan) Little of of Vegas, NV and Dan Little of Roscommon; 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and sister, Agnes Bouyoucos of Okemos.  There will be no services or visitation.  Burial will be held in DeWitt Cemetery, DeWitt.
