Auden Alexandra Robison class of 2026
May 26, 2008 – November 7, 2024
On November 7th, 2024, Auden Alexandra Robison took her own life at the age of 16. She was born on May 26th, 2008, to loving parents Alfred Jay Robison, Jr., and Michelle Suzanne Mazei-Robison, in Dallas, Texas, and spent the first four years of her life living on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, where she loved to play every day in Central Park. She then moved to Okemos, Michigan, where she was an outstanding student in the Okemos School System.
She loved to bake, exercise, and travel, particularly enjoying trips to New York City, Hawai’i, Italy, France and the Galapagos Islands in recent years. Auden was incessantly social and had many close friends at Okemos High School with whom she loved to watch horror movies, play tennis, have sleepovers, make Tik Toks, and attend concerts. She loved music, new and old, from Taylor Swift to Billy Joel, and she enjoyed romance novels and binge-watching Grey’s Anatomy, Gossip Girl, and Dance Moms. She was beautiful and loved to wear make-up, paint her nails, and curl her hair, and she would often spend her paycheck from working at Launch trampoline park on new clothes or “studying” with friends at Dunkin’. She had a wry and sardonic wit, was powerfully resolute in all her convictions, and always possessed a maturity well beyond her years. Her intelligence and biting sense of humor, as well as her empathy and enormous heart, will be missed by all her knew her.
She is survived by her parents, her brother Max Robison, her grandparents Pamela Robison, Sheryl and Mark Remington, and Jane Mazei, and great-grandparents Don and Helen Remington, her uncle Dan Mazei, aunt Jennifer Hart, and cousin Rhonan Mazei, her aunt Corey and uncle Chris and cousins Hunter and Ryli McCloskey, and her uncle and aunt Theron and Danielle and cousins TJ and Alex Skidmore. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers Al Robison, Sr., and Gary Mazei.
A visitation will be held at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home East Lansing Chapel on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 from 4pm until 7pm. A celebration of life for Auden will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Auden’s name can be made to Ele’s Place.
