Robert J. Almazan

January 14,1946-October 7, 2011

Robert was a millwright for GM for 33 years. as well as in real estate.

'Brief stay in army due to death of his father. As head of home where there

were still other children to raise, he stayed with his mother to raise them.

He did marry and have 7 children. was very active at Cristo Rey church,

always willing to help with seniors and the nuns of the parish. 'Even

remodeled the chapel at their convent.he had a passion for helping those

in need. After being divorced for many years, Molly his

widow now, met and fell in love; traveling everywhere, even cruises. 'Was

a wonderful life, but as life happens, his diabetes took over, so on to the

big state of Texas they went for his health where he still continued to help

those in need. He sponsored 2 small one room schools across the border

in mexico every year not only supplying pencils and paper, he had AC units

installed, and heaters when it was cold. 'Bought Christmas toys for total

of about 68 children every years since 200, just to name a few items, all

out of his own pocket.as usual.  Even after going blind and going on dialysis,

he still got things done. He wasn't perfect, no one is, but it's nice to know he

was a good person with a very big heart.  So very briefly, that's what I want those

who didn't know him very well, what a kind and generous and greatly loved still

person Robert was. Sorry I forgot you all knew him as Bob and I always called

my Robert.

I hope you can use some of this; I know he probably would have wanted me to put

in about the Future Farmers and stuff, he was proud of that. But I knew the person

he was. Feel free to edit or add whatever . I appreciate you doing this for all those

 who have passed away.

Thank you.

Molly Almazan
