Margaret 'Pegy' N. White Stanek class of 66 age 77 passed away peacefully at the Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, Michigan surrounded by family on June 25 2026.  Pegy was born in Highland Park, Michigan on December 7 1948 to Charles and Marguerite White. Pegy was preceded in death by her parents and brother Douglas White. Pegy is survived by the love of her life, her husband of 46 years Jerry Stanek. She had 3 sons Jeffrey Scott (Charley) Stanek, Joshua Jay (Meagan) Stanek, Nicholas Jay (Kelli) Stanek and 5 grandchildren, Andie, Colbie, Ryan, Lauren and Jackson.

She is also survived by her brother Chuck (class of 65) (Pat) and sister in law Dolores White.

Pegy was a devoted Christian Scientist for more than 40 , her faith guided her through life.  Above all Pegy treasured her family.  She cherished every friend and loved everyone she met throughout her life.  She and Jerry walked hand in hand through life's joys and challenges building a marriage founded on love, mutual respect, and unwavering support.  She often expressed gratitude for the life they shared together.
