Betty Goldstein (1965 French)

Mrs. Betty Goldstein of 230 Kipling Blvd., Lansing

Age 47, died at a local hospital, April 29, 1967.  She had been a lifelong resident of Lansing; a member of the Shaarey Zedek Congregation, Sisterhood; was past president of Lansing Chapter Hadassah; American Red Cross; graduated from Eastern High School; Michigan State University; did graduate work in French at MSU; was a French teacher in Lansing and East Lansing Public Schools and the past 7 years had taught French at Okemos High School.  Surviving are her husband, Morris M.; a son, Andrew Lee of Lansing; two daughters, Mrs. Fred (Stefany) Brot of Evanston, Ill., and Miss Cynthia Dee Goldstein of Lansing; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Abe Kamins of East Lansing; and a brother, Ernest L. Kamins of LaCross, Wis.  Religious services were conducted by Rabbi Philip Frankel and Cantor Bruce Wetzler of Shaarey Zedek Congregation at the Estes-Leadley Colonial Chapel at 2:30 p.m. Monday, with interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Lansing.
