Charles Eric "Ric" or "Rick" Lockwood, son of Charles Raymond (1925-1967) and Betty Jean (Kidman) (1925-1990) Lockwood, was born 9 October 1950 in Lansing, Ingham County, Michigan. He was in the Class of 1968 at Okemos High School. Rick was an US Army veteran (10 April 1968-27 November 1969), serving in Viet Nam. He died 15 November 1988 in Tarrant County, Texas and was interred Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Fort Worth, Tarrant County.

Age 38, died November 19, 1988 at his home in Arlington, TX. He was born in Lansing and attended school at Okemos. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Viet Nam in 1969, and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Okemos Surviving are his wife, Deborah K. Lockwood of Arlington, TX; daughter, Kristina of Tucson, AZ; step-father and mother, Mel and Betty Lockwood Pike of Okemos; brother and sister-in-law, Robert E. and Kay L. of Okemos; sister and brother-in-law, Tina and Dan Hopkins of Orlando, FL. Graveside services were held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Fort Worth, TX on November 21, 1988.
