Karl Frederick MacDonald - Class Of 1971

Karl Frederick MacDonald

Karl Frederick MacDonald, son of Frederick I. and Marilyn (Hastings) MacDonald, was born 5 June 1953 in Albion, Calhoun County, Michigan.  He graduated from Okemos High School in 1971.  Karl died 21 April 1979 in Traverse City, Grand Traverse County, Michigan and was interred Riverside Cemetery, Albion, Calhoun County.

Mr. MacDonald, age 25, died in Traverse City Apr. 22, 1979.  He had been a lifelong resident of the Lansing area, moving to Traverse City and Bay City a year ago.  He attended the Lutheran Church, and graduated from Okemos High School.  Mr. MacDonald had been employed with Meijer Thrifty Acres for several years, and recently has been associated with Marks and Goergens, Inc. of Saginaw.  Surviving are; Daughter, Heather of Traverse City; Parents, Marilyn and Frederick I. MacDonald of Okemos; grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. John Hastings of Albion, Mr. & Mrs. Frederick J. MacDonald of Horseheads, N.Y.; several aunts, uncles and cousins.  Religious services will be conducted by Rev. Douglas H. McBride of the Faith Lutheran Church of Okemos at 10 a.m. Wed. in the Estes Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel, with interment services at 12 noon in the Riverside Cemetery, Albion.
