Alice Marie Weber, daughter of William Henry (1892-1971) and Hazel M. (Palen) (1905-1971) Weber, was born 19 October 1927, Ingham County, Michigan. She graduated in 1945 from Okemos High School.
Alice married her high school sweetheart, James Dalton Potier 1 June 1946, Perry, Shiawassee County, Michigan. James, a US Army World War II veteran, was a 1943 Okemos High School graduate. Alice and James raised two children. James died 26 August 2006, Ingham County. Alice died 25 March 2008, Perry. They were interred Glendale Cemetery, Okemos, Ingham County.

Alice Marie (Weber) Potier, age 80, passed away on Tuesday March 25, 2008 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday March 29, 2008 at Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, Perry Chapel. The Rev. Carol Floyd will be officiating with burial to follow in Glendale Cemetery, Okemos. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and again on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Alice was born on October 19, 1927, the only child of William and Hazel (Palen) Weber in Mason, MI. She attended country school for the first eight grades and graduated from Okemos High School. On June 1, 1946 she married the love of her life, James Potier, in the Methodist Church in Perry where she had been an active member for more than sixty years. Her greatest joy in life were her two children Penny and Paul. Alice was employed at Old Kent Bank, Reynolds Food Market, Perry Public Schools and J. C. Penney Co. She was a member of the Perry Garden Club, Farm Bureau, Extension Club and Attended MARSP with her husband. She enjoyed dining out, travel, needle work, gardening, cards and crafts. She is survived by her daughter, Penny Marsh of Lansing; son, Paul and his wife, Lynn, of Perry; 5 stepgrandchildren; and many step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James, in 2006, son-in-law Dean and her parents. Memorials are suggested to the Perry United Methodist Church.
