Evelyn Gayle "Gayle" Neifert, daughter of Brigadier General Carson Royce Neifert (1912-1987) and Ella J. (Garvelink) (1917-1990) Neifert, was born 6 August 1945 in Holland, (city is within both Ottawa and Allegan counties) Michigan.  Gayle graduated from Okemos High School in 1963.  She married thrice; Purling, Tribell and Adelsberger.  Gayle died 14 August 2003 in Missouri.

ADELSBERGER, GAYLE  (nee Neifert), suddenly, Thursday, August 14, 2003; beloved wife of Dan Adelsberger; dear step-mother of Stephanie Adelsberger; daughter of the late General Carson & Ella Neifert; sister of Carson (Carolyn) & Marc (Tina) Neifert; aunt of Celianna (Eric), Alexandra (Stephen), Natalia, Anthony (Leah), Alison (Eddie) & Angela (Mark); dear great-aunt, cousin & friend.

Gayle was a member of Duck's Unlimited & The Red Hat Society.  She was an avid Ram's fan & a Michigan State supporter.  She will be greatly missed by all.

Memorial visitation at the Schrader Funeral Home, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin, Sunday, 2-6 p.m.  Interment private.
