Mary Alma Paden, daughter of Charles Deemer (1907-1967) and Bertha Marie (Deckard) (1909-2007) Paden was born Liverpool, Perry County, Pennsylvania.  Mary's parents divorced and she moved, at age 9, to Michigan to live with her mother and step-father, John Mitchell Foster (1902-1986).  Mary graduated in 1944 from Okemos High School.  She married Richard Lawrence Rowley 31 August 1946 Lansing, Ingham County, Michigan.  Richard, a World War II US Navy veteran, was born  1 April 1923.  Richard's naval career included submarine service.  He died 11 December 2001.  Mary died 9 August 2006 Michigan.  Richard and Mary were interred Glendale Cemetery, Okemos, Ingham County.
