A most decent person, Lou worked with me for a while in Okemos, c. 1990. We used to bike down the river trail years later, c. 15 years ago. I have many fond memories of his kindness and selflessness.
I always looked up to Lou because he was my older brother. He always led the way, and I followed. One of my best memories of him is from about 2002, when he solved a military invasion simulation problem for the U.S. Government. He utilized his boyhood experience with a war-themed board game that he used to play with Ken Weller, in order to solve the computer simulation need.

May you Rest in Peace Lou. A true Gentleman if ever one walked among us. May God Bless.
