Eunice Gertude Worthington, daughter of Spencer David (1904-1987) and Margaret (Cornell) (1907-1991) Worthington, was born 27 May 1926 in Okemos, Ingham County, Michigan. She graduated from Okemos High School in 1944. Eunice succumbed to injuries received in an auto accident 25 June 1945 Lansing, Ingham County. She was interred Glendale Cemetery, Okemos.

THREE PERSON KILLED AS AUTO HITS PARKED TRUCK
MASON - Three person, two from Lansing and one from Porland, were killed and three others seriously injured early today when the automobile in which they were riding crashed into the rear of a parked truck two and one-half miles south of here on US-127.
John Tarky and Emogene Musterpaugh, 23, of Lansing and Donald Foote of Portland were killed. Those injured were Doris Hassett of Lansing, Eunice Worthington of Okemos and Charles Wohlscheid, of Portland.

Condition of two young women injured in a collision south of Mason last Saturday, in which three other persons were killed, was reported "unchanged" by Edward W. Sparrow hospital authorities Monday.
The victims, Miss Doris Hassett, 18, of 2026 Culver street, and Miss Eunice Worthington, 19, of Okemos, were still in critical condition and had not regained consciousness since the crash. A sixth person injured in the same accident was Charles Wohlscheld, 23, of Portland who suffered painful lacerations. His condition was reported as "good."

SATURDAY CRASH TAKES 4TH LIFE
EUNICE WORTHINGTON DIES OF INJURIES IN COLLISION
Injuries suffered in a traffic crash south of Mason last Saturday morning resulted in death of a fourth victim here Monday night when Miss Eunice Gertrude Worthington, 19, of Okemos, died at Edward W. Sparrow hospital.
The young woman never regained consciousness after the accident, which killed three other persons and seriously injured Miss Doris Hassett, 18, of 2026 Culver street. Charles Wohlscheid, 23, of Portland, suffered less serious injuries. Miss Hassett regained consciousness for the first time Monday afternoon.
Miss Worthington was a life resident of Okemos and graduated from the high school there last year. She was an employee of the state health laboratories here.
Surviving are the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Spencer D. Worthington; two brothers, James H. and Robert W.; a sister, Mildred Elaine; the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Worthington, and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Cornell. Funeral services will be held from the Gorsline-Runciman funeral home Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, with Rev. Harold Jayne officiating. Burial will be in Glendale cemetery.
